Frequently asked questions

Straight answers, including the things we have not finalised yet. Still unsure? Contact us.

Can I order a server today?

Yes, whenever a plan shows “Available”. If a plan shows “Sales paused”, our servers are at capacity or under maintenance — join the waitlist and we will email you.

Which operating systems are available?

Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04 LTS, Debian 13 and 12, AlmaLinux 9 and Rocky Linux 9. More are added as templates are tested. Windows is not offered because of licensing costs.

Can you install a control panel for me?

Yes — choose aaPanel at checkout (free) and it installs automatically a few minutes after your server first boots. cPanel requires a paid licence per server and is not offered yet.

Do I get a dedicated IPv4 address?

Every plan is designed around an included IPv6 address. A dedicated IPv4 address is an optional paid add-on, offered while addresses are available in our pool.

Are backups included?

No. Backups are not part of the launch plans. If we offer them, they will be stored on separate infrastructure and restore-tested, with retention stated up front. Please keep your own backups.

Is the CPU dedicated?

No. vCPUs are shared under a published overcommit policy. We will not describe plans as dedicated CPU unless the allocation actually provides it.

What uptime do you guarantee?

We do not offer an SLA yet. We will publish measured availability and only introduce a commitment once it is backed by data and remedies.

How do I log in to my server?

You provide an SSH public key during checkout and cloud-init installs it on first boot. We never email server passwords.

How are payments handled?

Through Stripe's secure hosted checkout. We never see or store your card number or CVV. Stripe confirms payment to our servers with a signed message before any server is created.

Can I cancel?

Yes — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refund terms will be published in the Refund & Cancellation Policy before launch.
